WESTERN AUSTRALIAN PBC COURSES NOW ORGANISED
BY BMH TRAINING PTY LTD

The Practical Belt Conveying courses in Western Australia will now be organised by BMH Training Pty Ltd and presented by local Materials Handling Consultant Jim Bilessuris.  Jim has 25 years experience in bulk materials handling design, particularly in the iron ore industry of Western Australia.

DAVID BECKLEY RETIRES FROM PRESENTING PBC COURSES

Following the March 2010 course in Perth, a group of engineers from mining companies, consulting engineers and equipment suppliers attended a social gathering at the Citigate Hotel to celebrate the 1000^th person attending a PBC Course.  At this social function David Beckley formally announced his retirement from the training side of the business and introduced Jim Bilessuris as the new course presenter for Western Australia. 

David also announced that he plans to establish the Australian Conveyor Research Association with the objective of gaining a better understanding of belt conveyor mechanics.

1000^th ENGINEER ATTENDS A PBC COURSE

At the course held in Perth in March 2010 a significant milestone was reached in that 1000 engineers from Australia, Indonesia, Chile and Canada have now attended a four day Practical Belt Conveying course. 

2008 ANOTHER BUMPER YEAR FOR PBC COURSES

The high level of referrals from past participants combined with the mining boom has resulted in a bumper year for this popular training course. During 2008 a total of eleven Practical Belt Conveying courses were run in Australia plus one in Canada and one in Indonesia.

EASTERN STATES PBC COURSES NOW ORGANISED
BY TECH TRAINING AUSTRALIA PTY LTD

Since November 2006 the Practical Belt Conveying Courses in the Eastern States of Australia have been organised by Tech Training Australia Pty Ltd and presented by Edmond O’Donovan, Principal of E.J. O’Donovan and Associates. Edmond has 25 years experience in the design of large and complicated belt conveyor systems for both underground and surface applications.
